A Powerful Tool for 21st Century Jewish Education

The Jewish Lens – which links the power of photography and imagery to robust 21st century Jewish education – launched a dynamic new online curriculum at www.jewishlens.org this week.

The powerful curriculum integrates images and Jewish texts seamlessly, and includes tools for educators, including a forum to share ideas, strategies and lesson plans. Also included is a Moodle—Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment – a digital platform for online assignments, students’ posting of homework and projects, and classroom interaction.

Information regarding how the curriculum can be used in a variety of settings is provided, and short videos of unsynchronized teacher trainings will be added to the website in the near future.

The annual cost for use of the curriculum is $250. In celebration of the launch, the curriculum may be purchased for $200 from now until June 30, 2014.

The Jewish Lens is a Covenant Foundation grantee organization, founded and directed by 2013 Covenant Award recipient Zion Ozeri.
