Campers at Camp Twelve Trails Learn to be Keepers of the Earth

At Camp Twelve Trails, a joint project of the YM&YWHA of Washington Heights & Inwood, JCC on the Hudson and The Riverdale YM-YWHA, campers learn core Jewish values. From welcoming guests, to caring for your body, to the value of rest and reflection on Shabbat, to the pursuit of knowledge, Camp Twelve Trails finds ways to integrate Jewish lessons into camp life.

In July, campers spent time thinking about the Jewish value of honoring the earth and caring for it. Check out what some campers had to say, and then contact us for ideas on how you can use The Covenant Foundation Voices app to enhance your school, camp, program, synagogue or institution!
