This project funded the creation of an artists’ Beit Midrash, where participants study and discuss Jewish text to inform their artistic creations, and a parallel Artists-in-Residence program. After the pilot year in Milwaukee, the program expanded to include the Sabes Jewish Community Center in Minneapolis and the Hillel at the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
