Teens

To pilot a rabbinics program that integrates the study of rabbinic texts and conflict resolution theory and skills for 8th grade day school students.

Rodef Shalom offers multiple options for integrating Jewish learning and the development of conflict resolution skills. Throught this program, Pardes helps schools teach students to skillfully problem-solve social situations, actively prevent bullying, and commit to creating a more peaceful world. Throughout the program, students engage with rabbinic texts in ways that are relevant and inspiring to the 21st-century learner.”

At the completion of this grant, Pardes developed a plan to expand the Rodef Shalom program and partner with additional schools. They plan to develop a network of Rodeph Shalom schools that will support one another.
