To create a curriculum for grades 5-8 on Judaism and ecology, and to prepare teachers to use this curriculum.

We also created a lively and engaging quarterly newspaper, VOICE OF THE TREES, modeled after the Whole Earth Catalogue. Through all of its publications, including GREENING THE HOLIDAYS, A GARDEN OF CHOICE FRUIT, ECOLOGY & THE JEWISH SPIRIT, THE SPLENDOR OF CREATION, and A NEW YEAR FOR THE TREES, Shomrei Adamah created a foundation in Jewish ecological thought.”
