Letters of Recommendation Instructions

The following are instructions for submitting a letter of recommendation on behalf of an applicant for The Covenant Foundation’s 2026 Pomegranate Prize.

About the Prize

The Pomegranate Prize recognizes 10 emerging leaders in the field of Jewish education each year. Through the Prize, these Jewish educators are encouraged in their pursuits and offered the resources and connections necessary to accelerate their development, deepen their self-awareness, and amplify their impact on the field.

Each of the ten Prize recipients will receive a monetary award of $15,000 to pursue their professional dreams.

Through the Pomegranate Prize, The Covenant Foundation seeks to empower emerging Jewish educators to take risks and make a difference.

Recipients will be recognized at a special program in their honor as well as at the annual Covenant Awards Celebration. This year’s festivities will take place on Wednesday evening, October 28th, 2026 and Thursday morning, October 29th, 2026 in New York City.
